Some at our city say that there’s no point in having a public meeting because it is zoned for this type of development and public meetings won’t stop it. But with petitions at over 4600 signatures- we need to be considering the public’s opinion on this development. To not hold a public meeting is to say the public’s opinions and ideas do not matter. Your voice matters. Your voice deserves to be heard.

What a lovely afternoon out! 🍸🧀
Greg and I had such a great time at the St. John’s Board of Trade’s celebratory cocktail reception this spring at the . It was all about welcoming the new 2026 board members and cheering on the newly elected Chair, Anna Cook, KC, a lawyer from Cox & Palmer who’s been such a strong supporter of local business.
Super nice to catch up with everyone in the room and chat about what’s ahead for our city. I was there representing with Greg Hanley.
Big congrats to Anna and the whole new board, here’s to a great year , We could tell from your excellent speech you are ready for this!
