We would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter 🐣. There will be more updates coming as we create our new set up. Just a hint of what is to come, our new name will be Golden Crust and Garden. There will be some changes but pocket pies and butter tarts will remain the same. Enjoy this absolutely beautiful weekend☀️🌷

Memories of Christmas past. This is our first Christmas season off work in 30 years. We are missing all of our customers that supported us every Christmas season. Although it was quite a grind it made us very happy to know our product was part of everyones Christmas season and traditions loved by many.❤️

Wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend. This was the biggest pie weekend of the year for us and we are thinking of all our customers missing those pies, cookies and tarts this year.
We went from making 800 pies to only 3 pies this year for our family of 4 gathered around the table in our new home on Vancouver Island . We have new and exciting plans for Summer 2026 for Golden Crust but you will have to come to us in Coombs. 🍂 🍁

Hello everyone,
We hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer!
Since closing our Squamish bakery in February, we've been busy making the move over to Vancouver Island. We're excited to share that we've settled on a rural property in Coombs just minutes from the iconic Coombs market (yes the one with the goats on the roof). The community has been so welcoming and we have been hard at work moving both home and business.
Our property is a big project so we will be taking the next year to focus on renovations and settling in. Looking ahead we plan to launch something new in the summer of 2026 . While it will look quite different from our farmers market days and bakery storefront, you will definitely recognize some of the flavours and traditions you've come to know us for.
We're very excited for this new chapter and look forward to sharing updates with you along the way.

Last call for pies! Fresh baked lemon meringue and fruit pies on our last official day of operation. If you didn’t preorder you can just pop in, first come fist get, we baked lots of extras.
Our customer appreciation day is tomorrow, drop in between 11&4 to say goodbye, refreshments and goodies will be served.
