When I started making empanadas in my kitchen years ago, I never imagined where this journey would take me.

From family and friends in BC, to starting over in Alberta, to finding our little blue trailer... every step has been possible because of the people who believed in us.

To every customer who placed an order. To every person who stopped by our trailer. To every vendor who shared advice, encouragement, and friendship. To everyone who liked, shared, commented, or recommended us to a friend...

Thank you. 💙

What started as a love for cooking has become something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

It's not just about empanadas and churros.

It's about community. It's about connections. It's about sharing a little piece of our story and culture with others.

And while I'm incredibly proud of how far we've come, I truly believe the best is still ahead.

💙 A Little Family Weekend 💙

Cocina Sabrosa To Go will be closed this weekend as we celebrate a very special milestone: the graduation of our oldest son! 🎓

We are also enjoying some precious time with family visiting from out of town and taking this weekend to be together and celebrate.

💙 The Story Behind Cocina Sabrosa
Part 4 • The Trailer Moment

One day at Jubilee Park during Canada Day, my husband spotted a little pink food trailer.

He looked at it and said:

"That's what you need."

He's the doer... I'm the one who takes a little longer 😅

But this time, I listened.

I started researching, asking questions, and trying to figure out what it would take to make this dream happen.

My dear friend Holly was a huge help. She shared so much information about markets, what I needed to get started, and things I would have never known to ask. Her advice and encouragement helped me more than she probably realizes 💙

Before we knew it, we found our trailer, completed the paperwork and inspections, and one month later...

We were at our very first market.

And one year later, we were back at Jubilee Park with our own little blue trailer 💙
