Just wanted to come on here and give an update :)
As you can all imagine the rising cost of..well…EVERYTHING…my costs have risen as well. Just to put it in perspective, when I first started this business the cost of a dozen eggs was $2.99, now they are nearing the $6 mark, a block of shortening on sale was $1.29 now it’s tipping $5 at some places, and icing sugar would go on sale many times for 2/4, now the cheapest is around 3.99. This doesn’t even include the costs of food coloring, used to be $2.99 and now over $6, or icing bags and cutters, packaging etc,

All this considered, effective October 1st there will be a slight increase in the cost of cookies. I do strive to keep my pricing comparable to the area and what people can afford.

Thank you all for your support and love of my cookies!
