I once made a crazy set of completely useless acrylic nails for my final project at nail tech school. I asked my client for inspo and she chose Hello Kitty….
Initially, I was not at all pleased by her choice. In the nail world, Hello Kitty, well, she’s been done. I didn’t want to do something typical for my final project. So, I decided to juxtapose Hello Kitty with Marie Antoinette. Now that’s sommething crazy I can get behind.
So that long blurb was just to tell you that I have also made a bottle of Perrier Jouët out of acrylic . I hallowed out the mini acrylic bottle and filled it with gold sparkles and distilled water. I placed it atop a Marie Antoinette style champagne glass atop a nail. When you flipped it upside down and back, it looked like you were filling the glass. Was pretty cool.
