Feeling incredibly grateful today! 💜

I was honoured to receive this certificate from MP Kyle Seeback recognizing the Grand Opening of Destined to Bake Café. I never imagined that my little baking business would one day grow into a café, and receiving this recognition for our Grand Opening is truly humbling.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the residents, families, staff, and visitors of Dufferin Oaks, along with our local community, while supporting fellow small businesses and creating a welcoming space for people to connect over good food and conversation.

💜What an incredible Grand Opening Day! ☕

I truly can't thank everyone enough for the support today. Whether you stopped by as a friend, family member, longtime customer, or as a brand-new face discovering the café for the first time, I am so grateful for each and every one of you.

Today exceeded my expectations and was a wonderful reminder of how supportive this community is. Seeing so many familiar faces and meeting so many new ones made the day incredibly special.

I’m happy to say that Day 1 was a true success! ❤️

We'll be back tomorrow with even more fresh bakery items available, along with coffee, tea, sandwiches, soup, and all the homemade treats you've come to expect from Destined to Bake.

Thank you for helping make this dream a reality. I can't wait to welcome even more of you through the doors this week!

The Destined to Bake Café Grand Opening is happening Tuesday, June 9th from 11 AM - 3 PM at the main entrance of Dufferin Oaks.

To celebrate, everyone who visits on June 9th can enjoy a FREE coffee or tea on me — no physical coupon required! 🎉

For those who received one of my Free Coffee or Tea Cards, you can still redeem it any time in the future. There’s no need to use it on opening day.

As a little thank you, if you choose to redeem your physical card during the grand opening, I’ll stamp your loyalty card as if you had purchased a coffee, putting you one drink closer to your next free coffee or tea! ☕️❤️

Come by, say hello, enjoy a hot drink, and spend some time with the community. I'll also be featuring delicious locally made soups from The Raw Carrot and supporting other local vendors along the way.
