🌲💚 Celebrating 20 Yrs of Pine River Institute! 💚🌲

This order was an extra special one for me. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Pine River Institute in the past, and I still return as a casual staff member when an extra set of hands is needed. Being asked to create cupcakes for their 20th Anniversary celebration was pretty special. 🥰

Chocolate cupcakes topped with green and vanilla coloured espresso Italian buttercream, gold accents, green pearls and custom edible toppers celebrating the incredible PRI staff and 20 years of making a difference. 🫶🏻✨

☕ Do you know where your coffee comes from? ☕

At Destined to Bake Café, supporting Canadian & Local is important to me, right down to the coffee in your cup! 💜

Our coffee comes from Baden Coffee Company, a small-town Ontario coffee roaster that has been roasting quality coffee for over 25 years and supplies more than 600 wholesale customers across Southwestern Ontario.

But I chose a pretty special coffee from them. 🐾☕
We proudly serve Kaffee Kares, a medium-roast, Direct Trade coffee from Nicaragua. It has delicious notes of dark chocolate, toast, caramel, malt and roasted nuts, with a medium body and acidity.

And my favourite part? 🐾

Proceeds from the sale of Kaffee Kares help support animals in need at the Humane Society!

So when you grab a coffee from Destined to Bake Café, you're not only supporting my small business.. you're helping me support another local Ontario business and a coffee that gives back to animals in need.
