It was my parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary party this past weekend. I had so much fun making this cake. It’s been a long time since I’ve done any gum paste flowers, and there’s definitely a learning curve, but in the end I was pleased with the results.

Had some time yesterday to play with my new tart rings and use some of the apples off the tree in my parent’s yard. It’s definitely a learning curve, but they were delicious! The rose apple tarts have a chai pastry cream in them and the others are filled with pumpkin whip. 😋

This little love turns three today, and once again I had the privilege of making her cake. This year’s theme was dinosaurs, so of course I had to make a “sediment” cake with all her favourite dinosaurs on top. She also had special requests for a nest and a volcano! A huge thank you to for the cutest shaker cake topper that was just perfect! Happy birthday sweetheart! Auntie loves you! ❤️
