We are very excited for this new chapter in our lives! It does mean that I am taking some time away from baking so I can focus on growing this little bean. I am currently closed for orders, but hope to be back to baking in the future!

Love and Butter will not be taking any custom orders for the remainder of the summer months! It's time to take a little break from baking so that I can return in the fall refreshed and ready to bake and create cakes and cupcakes for you!

Where are my angel food cake lovers at?!

Decided to try making angel food cake cupcakes for the first time for my grandma's birthday. They were SO WORTH the time it took. They were so light, fluffy, airy, and not super egg-y like I find a lot of angel food cakes. Of course I had to keep it classic with a strawberry whipped cream on top. But then a little bit extra by adding a chocolate dipped strawberry on top!

Kept this one fairly simple for my grandmother's 92nd birthday back in December. Banana and chocolate cake layers, cream cheese buttercream, rice paper sails, fondant decoration.
