Chocolate fudge oreo cake 😋

I made this cake for the Empty Arms Gala tonight. I donated it so they could raise money for their organization. Although they didn't help me directly when having my miscarriages, I know people they have helped during child loss. I fully support this organization and hope all the cakes donated raise them a large amount of money ❤️

Our son is almost 10 months old! I thought after I had him, I would be back to baking and creating in the fall, then I thought in the new year, but now I have no clue or timeline. Happy National Son's Day to our one and only precious son 🥰 We are over the moon in love with him. He holds a HUGE piece of our hearts.

He is beautiful inside and out. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. His morning smiles make our days so much brighter 😍😊

Little man keeps me very busy with nursing. As of right now, I'm not sure when I'll be back to baking. I'm thinking in the New Year. Right now, I am soaking up all the snuggles and time with him. They're only this small for so long ❤️

Our son made his arrival on July 3rd at 10:09pm weighing 8lbs 8oz. He is our pride and joy. We are still adjusting to all the changes and soaking in all his little snuggles.

With that being said, I likely won't be back to baking and creating until October/November. Thank you for sticking around, I'll be back! I promise ❤️ I'm just busy with the most important job, being a momma 🐻

Moving forward, I will only be taking on a couple of orders in April and May. After that, I will be taking time off to rest and prepare for the arrival of our sweet baby. I plan to be away till sometime in the fall. I don't have an exact date yet, but I will definitely post when I'm feeling ready to bake and create again.

Hello cake fans and lovers! I've sat and thought about this for quite a few days. I will no longer be taking orders until sometime in the New year. I have been really sick for the past couple of weeks and until I feel back to myself, I sadly can not commit to any orders.

It truly breaks my heart, as I enjoy doing this work. But I have cancelled and turned down more orders in the past 2 weeks than I ever have. It's not good business wise but I need to take care of myself. If you're needing a cake but don't have others to turn to please comment here and I'll send a few recommendations.

Autumn vibes 🌻 Chocolate cupcakes filled with nutella

I was up till 12am making and perfecting the icing colors and up at 5:30am filling icing bags and creating these beauties for a 7:45am pick up ❤️ I truly love what I do but it's not your standard 9-5 job. I work all around the clock if I have too, to make sure my customers get the freshness they deserve. As long as I have happy customers, that's all that matter to me.

💕 35 and fabulous 💕

Wow, did this cake teach me a few things! Some of them being patience, perseverance and to listen to my gut.

The first set of cakes I baked became a flop. As I was stacking the tiers and filling them with my raspberry filling, it slowly started ooozing out the sides 🙈 this is where listening to my gut should have came into play. I needed thicker icing to hold everything up and it crossed my mind before I began assembling the cake. A lesson was definitely learned.

After trying for a while to save it, I had to come to terms with it wasn't going to happen. Keep in mind this was at 2pm and my birthday was at 7pm 🥴😳 After crying and taking a few deep breaths, I pulled up my socks and challenged myself! I rebaked and cooled more cakes, made more icing and went to town. 3 1/2 hours later I had in front of me exactly what I envisioned 🥰😍

I HUGE thank you to my husband for standing behind me and cheering me on. For hugging me while I cried and washing all the dirty dishes ❤️ I couldn't have done it without him.

Thankful it all worked out and we had a nice evening. Remember....don't ever give up! Challenge yourself, keep dreaming and giving it your all. Nothing is ever perfect and this is a reminder we all start somewhere. Mistakes are a normal part of the journey, it's how we learn.
