🇬🇷 In Greek culture, we welcome the beginning of each month with Kalo Mina (καλό μήνα). It’s a wish for a happy, healthy and prosperous month ahead.

And October is bringing a little extra sweetness!

Stella’s Baklava will be popping up at Ingredients Artisan Market on Saturday, October 10, just in time for Thanksgiving!

🇬🇷 September 1st means it’s time for one of my favourite Greek traditions. Saying Καλό Μήνα (kalo mina)!

Literally meaning “good month,” it’s a wish for the month ahead to be filled with health, happiness, good fortune and many sweet moments.

🇬🇷 In Greek culture, we say καλό μήνα (kalo mina) to wish each other a good month. Often we add με υγεία meaning with good health.

And here in Canada, we're starting the month with celebration. Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦
