Over the past 4 months, well over 900 men have found warmth, safety, and friendship in St. Mary’s Parish Hall overnight warm up location - with over 13,000 check ins! Thank you to The Salvation Army in Saskatoon for their partnership.

As we prepare for the closing of the hall for the season, we want each man to leave with a small bag of essentials — a reminder that he is cared for and not forgotten. This is not an easy time for us, and we want to send them off knowing they are still in our hearts.

We have many bags to fill and need your help!!

Monetary donations are especially helpful, as they allow us to shop for the specific items needed.

Hello Sweet Sensationioners 💕
We are in desperate need of blanket donations and men's gloves to help us serve the homeless in our community. Can be used if washed.

On average around 130 men seek shelter in St. Mary’s church hall overnight.... but we only have aprox 20 blankets left.

If you can donate, please message me or drop off at St. Mary’s church office (211 Ave O south) during office hours. (Monday to Thursday from 9am to noon and 1pm to 3pm; Fridays from 9am to noon).

Thank you advance for helping us serve some of the most vulnerable in our community during this extreme cold.

You know me through Sweet Sensations, but there is another part of my life I want to invite you into.

I serve as the Mission & Outreach Coordinator at St. Mary’s Parish in the Diocese of Saskatoon, working closely with the poor, vulnerable, and homeless in our community. It’s work that has deeply touched my heart and changed my family's life.

And you, my Sweet Sensations Family are part of the journey that got me to where I am today. The last two winters as my family served the homeless it was YOU that kept our doorstep filled with donations of food and essentials that we took out with us every night.

Noe on the outreach page I share what’s happening, who we are serving, and how others can be part of it.

My heart is overflowing with gratitude.

To every single person who supported Sweet Sensations this season — whether by placing an order, sharing a post, sending an encouraging message, or cheering me on from afar — thank you. Your support has meant more than I can possibly express during this season of transition for our family. ❤️

Choosing to order from Sweet Sensations wasn’t just about purchasing a treat — it made a real and meaningful difference for our family, during a time of change and uncertainty. It allowed me to continue providing for my boys while balancing ministry and motherhood.

This season treats were baked with care, gratitude and love. Every order felt like encouragement, a reminder that this return — even in a smaller, temporary seasonal way — was exactly where God was gently leading me.

At the same time, through my ministry work, over 500 Blessing Bags were prepared and will be shared with the unhomed, the vulnerable, and those quietly struggling in our city. Seeing generosity ripple outward — often from the very same people who supported Sweet Sensations — has been deeply humbling. Please know that my work continues year round and you are invited to support Mission & Outreach Ministry - St. Mary's Parish Saskatoon - St. Mary's is for the 3rd winter home to the warm up center for men seeking shelter and we do street outreach too. The need is great.

This season has been full. Tiring. Beautiful. Holy.

As many of you know, I’ve recently stepped into a new and deeply meaningful role as the Mission & Outreach Coordinator at St. Mary’s. Because this work is my primary focus, this Christmas baking season is just a temporary return to the kitchen to help my family during this transition — which means I’m only accepting limited orders this year but that each order means more than ever.
