To Our OMC Family,

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the closing of our company. First off, we would like to thank everyone, from the bottom of our hearts, who have encouraged us along the way. We would also like to make it very clear that our closing is not due to a lack of support, that was truly one thing about this business we never spent a moment questioning, and we thank you all endlessly for that. We embarked on this journey three years ago at farmers markets to test and learn our strengths and weaknesses in business skills. At that time we hadn't intended on creating a lifelong business out of the cookies. However, because of all of your love and support at the farmers markets we decided to take it one step further and open our store front. Seeing the passion and love people had for our cookies is ultimately what drove us to continue our journey here for three years. As most of you know when you come into the store we would often explain that baking isn't our passion, we were just huge believers in how much people loved Our Mom's Cookie recipe, and we loved spreading the goodness. This is however the reason we went on this journey and now the reason we feel the need to shift our focus onto different ventures. Baking cookies simply just isn't our personal passion, but more of a labour of love, from our mom and to all of you. I know what you’re all thinking... your plan this whole time was to get us all hooked on your cookies and just take them away?!.... but no no no, we don't want to leave any of you with a craving that can't be satisfied...therefor up until September 19th, come on in to stock up on dough balls, and cookies!
So as we type these last words I want you to know the deep sadness we feel in our hearts about this journey coming to an end, it truly has been an honour to be the gift that cheered up a friend who couldn't seem to smile, or the hostess gift that made everyone at the party gasp with excitement, or most importantly the way you decided to show someone you loved them, by giving them Our Mom's Cookies...
