Preston Pies For over 40 years we have proudly shared authentic British baking with Niagara, crafting pies and treats inspired by more than 60 years of family tradition.

We’re proud to be part of the Niagara community and share a taste of Britain with every visit. Preston Pies was started in 1983 and has used its homemade and freshly baked goods to feed St. Catharines and surrounding cities for the past thirty years. Its original owner developed his baking skills in England and has used his skills to craft his own special recipes. These recipies have allowed us to

continue to create the finest pies, dinner foods and desserts all at very affordable prices. We also sell various british chocolates, drinks, beans, cookies and other goods to bring a little taste of Britian to Canada. Stop in any time or call and place an order, we will be happy to oblige.

The Biggest Soccer Tournament arrives in Canada in just two days and we had to celebrate with a big summer giveaway!

The Giveaway works like this; Every $20 spent gets one ballot into the giveaway, and if you take part in The Great Pie Tournament (which starts tomorrow) by purchasing one of the participating pies, you’ll get a further ballot!

In honour of the world’s greatest sports tournament taking place right here in Canada, we created The Great Pie Tournament, beginning next Wednesday!

For the next six weeks 8 pies will go head to head to see who you think should be on our menu! Voting will be counted based on in store purchases as well as comments and votes on social media!

This week we share with you a dessert that is close to our hearts, and a big part of our family culture. It’s the Hungarian Cream Slice, or as it’s called in Hungary Krémes. (Pronounced Cray-Mesh)

A dessert with roots as far back as the 16th-17th century, became famous in the coffee houses of the Austro-Hungarian empire. It’s often compared to and inspired by the French Mille Feuille, but what makes it distinctly Hungarian is its super thin layers of pastry acting as the sandwich between a very thick layer of custard cream
