If I’ve learned anything in the past month, it’s that life is short. We’re all working so hard to survive we’re forgetting to enjoy our lives! We had the most amazing time, words really can’t describe! So many laughs. So many memories. I would say this was a once in a lifetime trip, but we will definitely be doing this again.
My motto for this trip was YOLO.
Book the trip. Worry about the money later 😂
You only live once!

What a whirlwind the past few weeks have been. So surreal. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support, we are forever grateful! And a huge thank you to my staff. You guys have been so incredible and supportive these past few weeks so I could be with the family. I love you guys! 💖
Please note we have slightly reduced hours for the next couple weeks (check google for hours) as I am off for a girls getaway to Europe (3 years in the making!). This was one of the hardest days of our lives. The day the organ donor papers were signed, April 7th, which just happened to be green shirt day-a day dedicated to raising awareness about organ and tissue donation, in memory of the victims of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. This day made us realize the importance of organ donation. Mickey Moo saved 3 lives! What a beautiful blessing for those families! I just imagined them getting that call they’ve been waiting so long for. Another chance at life! As much as we’re devastated to lose her, if we can’t have her what an amazing gift she gave. She’s our hero! ❤️ I mean, if you’re going to die what do you care if your organs are donated? One person can save up to 8 lives, and improve the lives of up to 75 more through tissue donation! Heartbroken to announce the loss of sweet Makayla, our Mickey Moo at only 18 years old. She was a bright light in all of our lives, and she taught us so much. How to be compassionate, patient, caring, and how to love. She made us better people. We were so lucky we had her in our lives.
It gives us some peace knowing she’s no longer in pain…but man, this one hits hard. She wasn’t just our niece, or my kids cousin, she was our family, our heart.
