Congratulations to Robin Muzzerall, recipient of the 2026 Atlantic Canada Aquaculture Award!

For nearly 40 years, Robin has helped advance finfish farming through her leadership in freshwater production, hatchery operations and broodstock management. From introducing new technologies to mentoring the next generation, her contributions have made a lasting impact on our industry.

“This isn't just a job. It's a lifestyle. It's farming, and I'm incredibly proud to be part of an industry that grows food,” Robin said while accepting her award at ACFFA's annual Science, Research and Technology Forum in Saint Andrews, NB.

The celebration also included our annual charity auction, which raised $4,470 for the Atlantic Salmon Research Award, established in memory of longtime industry champion Betty House.

Congratulations as well to Javon Lo of UPEI, this year's $2,000 research award recipient!
