We are getting ready for the final market of the season, the Indulge Market, tomorrow (Saturday October 19th)! It looks like it should be a brisk but sunny start to the day and we are looking forward to one more chance to see everyone.

The Indulge market is held on King Street in the same block as Crocker Hill and Europa and it runs from 10am-3pm tomorrow.

Some French toast made with our sourdough Challah and served with dark maple syrup from the Saint Andrews Farmers Market from this past weekend.

The days are getting shorter now and that fall chill is in the air but we will still be at the market with lots of bread!

Something I love to do with the dark rye is to slice it thin and bake it in a low oven until the slices become delicious sourdough rye crackers. They are fantastic with creamy cheeses, Ovenhead smoked salmon pate, or a nice ratatouille or tian made with beautiful end of summer produce!
