Trending oval cake lambeth style

This week, time got the best of me, so I'm calling this my "leftover" birthday cake. πŸŽ‚ 🍰 I didn't have time to bake my cake from scratch so I opened my freezer to see what I had in there. I pulled out a marble cake and a cookies and cream one. I had leftover salted caramel SMBC and salted caramel from last week's wedding cake along with other SMBC from an order a couple of weeks ago. This is what I ended up with. I also added toasted pecans in between the layers for some crunch.

What a beautiful day for an outdoor wedding! 🌞

I had the honour and pleasure of making this beautiful wedding cake for a lovely couple. The cake was a vanilla cake with salted caramel filling covered in salted caramel Swiss meringue buttercream (SMBC). Everything was lactose-free. The couple also wanted cookies and cream cupcakes as well as lemon raspberry cupcakes which were filled with lemon curd and raspberry coulis topped with lemon SMBC.

The flowers were from Laviolette Flowers and Decor my go-to florist. They are always there when I need them with beautiful flowers.
