A pair of Canada geese had a baby on our d**e and quite honestly, I’m a little obsessed with this family now. Every day I watch them waddle along, peck at the grass, or swim around and it brings me such joy.

When your dad (from whom you inherited your childish sense of humour) has a milestone birthday, you make him a cake. A chocolate with chocolate ganache and chocolate icing cake. A chocolate cake with cartoon poops on top. Because he is truly the only person for whom you can do this. He laughed. We laughed. The lovely staff at laughed. It was a good day. And a delicious cake 🎂🥰

Thinking back to the weekend and I spent in Victoria. We stayed at the amazing and beautiful (seriously, look at that room and the breakfast!), had the most wonderful and lovely (we felt very civilized) tea at , bought pretty dishes at , and said hi to every dog and cat we saw! We truly can’t wait to go back- just need to convince the parents to take the kids for the weekend again!
