🌾 Well… OOPS I DID IT AGAIN! 😂 A little Prairie Pantry update!

Remember how I said we'd be launching our first Prairie Morning Box in October?

Apparently, I forgot to consult the family calendar before making that announcement 🤦‍♀️

Between hockey starting up for both my kids and husband, team manager duties for me, coaching for my husband, and all the usual chaos that comes with family life, I've realized that trying to launch a new business right in the middle of it all might have been a little ambitious. 😂

So, we're making a small adjustment!

🤎 The Prairie Morning Box soft launch is moving to mid-November.

I'm still so excited to bring it to you, and I'd much rather take a little extra time to get everything right than rush something I'm so passionate about.

BUT… that doesn't mean the Prairie Pantry kitchen is closed! 🌾

I've been busy perfecting my sourdough bagel recipe, and I thought, why not give you a little taste of what's coming?

🥯 PRAIRIE PANTRY BAGEL DROP!

Scratch-made sourdough bagels, made with a blend of traditional and fresh-milled Alberta Golden Grains flour, baked and ready to enjoy or tuck into your freezer for busy mornings.

6 bagels for $12

Choose from four flavours:

🧅 Everything Bagel
🥯 Plain
🧀 Aged Cheddar
🍇 Cinnamon Raisin

📅 Orders open Friday, October 16, and close Monday, October 19.

📦 Pickup and Raymond delivery: Friday, October 23.

Each 6-pack is one flavour - $10/6-pack Quantities will be limited!

It's not quite the big launch I originally planned, but it's a start. And I'm learning that sometimes the best way to build something is one small, manageable step at a time. 🤎

🌾 Okay… I promised some sneak peeks. And I'm a little late to my own launching party 😂
But…life happens. September got busy, plans shifted, and Prairie Pantry had to simmer on the back burner for a few extra weeks, and honestly? I'd rather launch it right than rushed 🤎

So here's your first official look at what's coming:

A freezer full of scratch-made favourites for whatever your morning looks like:

Think slow weekend mornings, busy school mornings, something good warming in the oven, coffee brewing… without having to start from scratch yourself.
Prairie Morning Boxes will officially open for preorder the week of October 12 🎉
I'll be sharing all the details soon — pricing, pickup dates and how to order.

BUT… since Thanksgiving is almost here and I can't resist a little fall baking… 🍂🍎 I'm planning a small, off-schedule Thanksgiving bake before then. Details coming very soon! 👀

Ok, changes took a little longer than expected (that's life right?!) but here we are - turning over the first page of this new chapter for Prairie Pantry Co! I can't wait to share my ideas and meal options with all of you 🤎 more coming later today!

🌾 Something new is coming…
What started as Pie Mama began pretty simply — with a love of baking, creating, and sharing homemade food with our community. Over time, I’ve found myself dreaming about what it could grow into.
So… Pie Mama is becoming Prairie Pantry Co. 🤎
The fry pies aren’t going anywhere — promise! They’re where this little business began, and they’ll always have a place in the pantry. But Prairie Pantry Co. is making room for so much more.
I’ll be adding scratch-made freezer baking, hearty family-sized freezer meals, smaller Table for Two options, seasonal favourites, and plenty of homemade goodness you can keep tucked away for the days when life gets busy.
The heart behind it is really simple:
Good, homemade food for your freezer — ready when you need it.
Same hands. Same love of baking and creating. Same homemade goodness.
Just a new name… and a much bigger pantry. 🌾
I’m hoping to officially launch late September-to-early October, and I’ll be sharing sneak peeks, menu ideas and more details over the next few weeks as everything comes together.

That’s what 500 cookies looks like! Not pictured are the 12 dozen cinnamon buns and 8 dozen tarts also baked and boxed and delivered. Thank you to everyone who ordered Christmas baking this year - I always feel like I bite off more than I can chew during the holidays (and I usually do 😂) but it always ends up being worth it!
