On the property you are welcome to wander around to see: free-range and non-GMO raised chickens, lush organic gardens, and many rustic treasures! With everything being baked fresh daily, we have a selection of breads, buns, treats, & more! Bistro...

All of our "sweets" are on the lower end of sweet, using organic sugar and healthier alternatives (monk fruit) its about flavor and nutrition. The loaves you find here are non gmo, full of great organic ingredients . We have worked hard to produce breads familiar in texture and taste to what we knew. baguettes, sandwich loaves, seed loaves, cheese bread, mock rye loaves and buns, and more! Everything we bake is not only gluten free and organic, completely dairy free- except any cheese, and buttercream icing. Almost everything contains eggs, farm eggs however, but we are working on a perfect vegan something or other! We have an onsite meat-inspected poultry processing plant to ensure our birds have the best life with only one bad day! The produce we sell is mostly from our garden, weather and seasons permitting, or carefully sourced as local and fresh as we can get! It has been an awesome journey here , but time to pass it on to someone who wants the opportunity to live and work from home in a sustainable way.
There's so much more than meets the eye: private BnB's, commercial kitchen, bakery , beautiful dining room,butcher shop, barn, horse stalls, residence, food and flower gardens, amazing abundant well, it has been a venue for farm to table dinners, weddings, private parties, retreats, cooking classes and on and on...
The property is not ALR ... a rare feature is the zoning for a butcher shop, which we did for 24 years " the Cluck Stops Here" (those attempting to open a custom shop know its near impossible.)The entire food circle, from barn / garden to farm market and table service is set up to do here...along with housing guests.

Well...this has not been an easy time for any of us!
fourth wave on the way...
seems like when we have a plan to open...
it just not feeling right.
Sadly we are tucking in till next year, but...
still hoping to do private lunches and dinners...

so...Its Mothers Day weekend, and we arent happenin yet...
with outdoor dining, its just too cold up here still...
and with restrictions we want to just open, not open and close and open and close...
The next hopeful date is the May 24th weekend and truth be told...
I got a good dose of the covid funk :

I did one traditional toast, it was real good...
and my fav, grilled on cast iron with butter...
definitely the best!
