Hi! It's me, Cassie: the baker of all things somewhat edible. Thought I'd pop on here and introduce myself and give a little background info.
☆
• I was born in the USA, moved to Sasky at the ripe old age of 10.
• My mother is my idol in the kitchen, I can't recall a single piece of baking ever lasting more than a day in our house... unless, of course, it was hidden... sometimes.
• She had a little business selling all kinds of goodie platters for holidays, and was quite famous for them both local and far. Sometimes I was lucky enough to help Mama with her baking, and I picked up a trick or two.
• I could often be found in the Home Ec. room on lunch breaks or on spares, creating brownies or cheesecake, or outside painting a sign or two. Baking and arts are my recreational pastimes.
• I married my best friend and childhood crush in 2017.
• This February my husband and I were blessed with one smiley, chatty, and super giggly little lady. She promptly took over our hearts... and the house.
• I have a slight Mom-complex, and feel the excessive need to cook or bake for friends and family constantly, so I decided to make the most out of my hobby and passion.
