All about Paulette. By Paulette Boyd Carlson on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 11:38am
My family are 40 year residents of Princeton. We moved here in 1972 for a 0ne year trial and have not left since. My Culinary and Pastry training began at the sides of my grandmother's then continued in 1995 when i went to Dubrulle Cullinary School. I graduated from there with my Professional Cullinary degree
and my Professional Pastry Degree. The latter with Honours. I have worked in some of the best Hotels in British Columbia and Alberta including Jasper Park Lodge, Alberta the Hotel Georgia, Vancouver and The Delta Hotel, Richmond. Other work experience all as Pastry Chef include Newlands Golf and Country Club in Langley, Queen Charlotte Lodge, Queen Charlotte Islands and Langara Fishing Lodge, Queen Charlotte Islands. I worked in the Pastry Industry for twelve years some of it full time some of it seasonal and loved all of it. Certificates include Diplomas from Dubrulle Cullinary, Food Safe one and two, Whmis, and Interpersonal Communication certificate. In 2006 i decided to take a break and went back to school to become a Residential Care Aide and have been working in this industry for 6 years. Currently i am working permanent parttime at Ridgewood Lodge. I decided to go back into the baking world as i have never lost the "itch" to do pastry and and still love to create. In my spare time i like to hunt, fish, camp, visit with friends and family and bake! I hope this gives everyone an insite into my experience and a little info on me. Please feel free to message me and i can provide references if required. :)
Cheers Paulette
