There’s something about the smell of fresh bread that just feels like home.

This morning, I decided to make French bread in a baguette style — the crust turned out golden and the inside soft and airy.
We couldn’t resist slicing one open while it was still warm. A little butter melted right in, and it was pure comfort.
Simple ingredients, baked with love — that’s what Just Baked By Me is all about 💛

Nothing like fresh strawberries for a layer cake, with whipped white chocolate ganache, stabilized whipped cream with cream cheese, strawberry compote and vanilla cake - the definition of yummy! 13” x 18” - 2 layered sheet cake. Overall, very pleased with the end result.

Note to self, need to place strawberries more symmetrical next time on top.

🧚‍♀️Mastering the delicate balance of a macaron involves creating a crispy exterior, a chewy and soft interior, and a moist texture that effortlessly dissolves in your mouth. ✨

This delightful treat achieves a perfect harmony between sweetness and nuttiness, primarily made with almond flour and meringue. ✨These are slightly over-filled but couldn't help add a few more drops of yumminess!🧚‍♂️

This is what happens when a baker is wanting to practice decorating and the 'soon' to be son-in-law suggests a Chocolate Cake.... We end up with a 5", 3 tiered Chocolate Cake with chocolate ganache, white chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream with Moonshine cherries and chocolate design.... He suggests it YUMMY!
