I made a very limited quantity of fruitcake this year. I have:
-dark fruitcake aged in orange brandy.
-light fruitcake aged in Amaretto.
Both are topped with homemade rosewater marzipan.

30.00$ a full loaf or 15.00 for 1/2.
First come, first served.

I think some of you might know what this is....

I finally managed to collect enough pastry to make my croissant/danish/cinnamon roll/brioche bread pudding! Soaked in a homemade vanilla custard and topped with toffee sauce. This dish is a rarity folks! Just in time for the long weekend.

I am also running the weekend lunch special of pulled pork and/or beef brisket on a pretzel bun! Come see me at Cassie's Cafe!😘

Too hot to cook this weekend! Come visit the cafe...we are suspending our regular menu for our weekend special.

-BBQ pulled chicken OR pulled beef brisket, topped with coleslaw on a toasted pretzel bun.

-homemade super cheezy mac and cheese.

-mango-lime or strawberry-lemonade daiquiri.

Plus all the pastries. 😉🙃

I think only a Pastry Chef would "geek out" about tracking down this hard to find pistachio cream......and then promptly make raspberry pistachio cream bars! 🙂
