❤️ ONE YEAR OF OLD SIMCOE SOURDOUGH ❤️
One year ago today, on June 5, 2025, we put out our stand for the very first time with just 8 loaves of sourdough and 3 packs of uniced cinnamon rolls.
I’ll never forget our first customers—two landscaping guys who stopped for a loaf and cinnamon rolls before heading on their way. We still talk about them today.
What started as a small summer project quickly grew. By the end of stand season, we were selling out of 60+ loaves and 30 packs of cinnamon rolls at a time. We were also given our first market opportunity with Nature’s Bounty Farm , which became a wonderful introduction to wholesale.
Today, we’re baking over 200 loaves a week, plus 100+ additional sourdough products. We’re proud to be in the Trading Post , continue our weekly pre-orders, and do something we never imagined would become full-time.
To everyone who has bought a loaf, placed a pre-order, shared a post, told a friend, or supported us in any way—thank you. We truly couldn’t have done this without you.
We’re still amazed this is real, and we can’t wait to see what year two brings.
