What a weekend! We tried our hardest but just could not keep up with demand at a few points.
You guys really love donuts!🍩😃🍩

Apologies to all who had to wait in a long line, could not get the donut they really wanted or found us sold out for the day. We did our very best.
We are running a bit low on supplies after 4 of our busiest days ever as well so we may sell out a bit early over the next couple days. We're stocking right back up very soon tho, and got a big weekend coming up again!
( Salmon Festival!)

Once the show airs I will be posting so many pics, but for now I gotta hold off to preserve the surprise for viewers of the show.
Soon as I have a firm date for that I will let everyone know when to tune into HGTV.
It's gonna be awesome!!!!

Today's the big reveal day!!!
Got a beautiful dawn to start it too!
We are back to being open inside the shop!
🥳🥳🥳

🚨Clarification: we will be opening up the front door for inside service once the ribbon is cut at 2pm. Sry about the inconvenience, I misunderstood the days plan🤪🚨

As promised, I'm making our special flavors again.
I wanted to do a fan favorite, so naturally we've got the Root Beer glazed on.
I also wanted to do one that fit the Alberni Valley, which was a bit trickier ( smoked salmon doesnt really work on a donut🤔).
Looking around I notice the blackberries are starting to ripen, so I made Blackberry Sprinkles.

The Maple Bacon is once again labelled as The Hammer, in honor of Evan Hammond, as well.😊

Got the big reveal block party happening from 2pm to 5pm. Info on that is posted below.
It will be very busy, so it might be worth coming down a bit early. Parking is limited and at a bit of a distance from the Quay, but shuttle service will be available from the designated parking areas.

We would also like to thank everyone who have and continue to support us and the other Quay businesses thru this project. It's been a heckuva ride, but we made it!

Good Morning Donutsphere!!👋😃

One more day!!!!
Look at that pre-dawn sky!😍

As we transition back to regular, in store service things might be a bit chaotic at first. We got lots of new routines and spaces to figure out. Bear with us.😬

Few important things to note.
Orders, sales and service will be once again done from the front entry, with the back door as an exit and access to our back patio area ( you can walk thru again!🤗). The back window service will once again only be for special circumstances.
Dog walkers are of course always welcome at the back window, but our priority will be serving from the front of the shop. Patience is appreciated.☺️

Also, we are still a small shop, so for any larger orders of 3dzn or more we really appreciate a day's notice or more so we can be sure to be able to provide what you need while also maintaining a stock of all the favorites for walk in customers. It really helps us out.😉

Out front we have a whole pile of lovely, covered seating now as well. Lotsa room to take in the Quay and enjoy a treat! We can't wait for everyone to see the changes to the area. It's absolutely gorgeous!

Tonight is Teen Movie Night at Bob Daily Stadium!
Featuring: Happy Gilmore!

I was asked by the organizers to come up with a themed donut for it, so here we go!

Happly Gilmore Golf Donuts!
Chocolate glazed with green sprinkles, a homemade marshmallow and sprinkles golf ball and a golf club made from string licorice and a fruity candy!

I made some extras to help promote the event, theyre available at the shop, but they are in pretty limited supply so we can really only offer one per customer while supplies last. We've got 2 dozen of 'em.☺️

Things are really coming together fast down here at the Harbour Quay!

Good Morning Donutters! 👋😃

We're counting down the days!
The big reveal is coming up fast.
You are all invited to join us this coming Friday, August 28th at the Port Alberni Harbour Quay.
It's gonna be a blast!
Lots of activities, HGTV personalities and fun to be had. Come see all the big changes!

Of course, we are serving donuts and I'll have some special ones made for the day.
Until then we are still open for take out at our back window, with all the favorites available.

Bit overcast at the moment, but as usual that should be all cleared by midday.
Crafter's market is setting up in the Spirit Square, cinni minis are on, c'mon down!
