Interested snow removal contractors are invited to submit quotations to the Listuguj Mi'gmaq Development Centre (LMDC) on Friday, October 23, 2026.

The quotation is to include the amount for the following services during workdays for the LMDC:
· Snow removal for the LMDC parking lot before 7:30 AM
· All exits/entrance shovelled and cleared before 8 AM, including the Emergency exit path cleared behind the building
· Salt for the driveway and exits
· Snow removal of the LMDC roof - twice during the season
· Snow removal of dumped areas

Welcome 2026-2027 Adult Mi'gmaq Immersion Team!

LMDC is excited to welcome new and returning team members for the upcoming program year.

Please join us in welcoming Emma Metallic and Ronald Swasson as our new Year 1 Co-Instructors, and April Augustine as our Year 2 Education Assistant. All three are graduates of the Adult Mi'gmaq Immersion Program and bring valuable experience, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to Mi'gmaq language revitalization.

They join Maddie Metallic (Lead Instructor/Project Coordinator), Vicky Metallic (Year 2 Instructor), and Maureen Mitchell (Fluent Speaker) as we prepare to welcome our Year 1 and Year 2 students on September 8, 2026.

The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Development Centre (LMDC) is seeking a motivated and community-focused Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of employment, training, and workforce development initiatives.

Some Key Roles and Responsibilities are as follows:

-Coordinate projects, maintain timelines, and ensure objectives are achieved.

-Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify and address client training/employment needs.

-Research, identify, and coordinate workshops, training opportunities, and skills development programs for youth and adults.

-Coordinate facilitators, schedules, registrations, and logistics for training programs and workshops.
