I don’t think plums get the attention they deserve. Once baked, their flavour comes through, not too sweet, a little tart and coupled with a drizzle of honey from Calum McRae, that brings out all their flavour. There’s only 1 left here and I’ll take a couple to Vicki Emlaw for Saturday.

Just want to introduce Leslie to everyone. She’s been an invaluable addition to my little bakery helping me out 2 days a week. You can thank Leslie for keeping Cressy Mustard Co. and Vicki Emlaw stocked in Coconut Macaroons, helping with the pie making and Ice Cream Sandwiches.
There’s a fresh batch of granola in the bunkie along with the treats for the weekend.

These are probably the last of the rhubarb pies 😭, such a short season! As the lilacs begin to fade, the rhubarb goes along with them but that also means that strawberries will be coming soon 🌞!
