🎒🍎 Back to School Memories! ✏️📚

With students heading back to school, our residents took a little trip down memory lane with a Back to School Brown Bag Lunch!

Lunch was packed just like the good old school days sandwiches, snack packs, chips, fresh fruit and, of course, a juice box! 🥪🍎🧃

There was lots of reminiscing about school days, packed lunches and memories from years gone by.

And apparently, no one wanted to miss out on the back-to-school fun… even our resident goose joined in! 🪿😂

Sometimes the simplest things bring back the best memories. ❤️

☀️ August at H.J. was one for the books! ☀️

August has officially come and gone, and what a month it was! Our days were filled with sunshine, laughter, great food, new adventures and plenty of opportunities to make memories together. 💛

🍦 We cooled off with a visit from the ice cream truck
🍟 Enjoyed a delicious chip truck lunch
🐴 Took a wonderful trip to Heal with Horses, where residents enjoyed some fresh country air and time with some very special four-legged friends
🎶 Filled our home with music, programs, visits and lots of summer fun along the way!

It’s hard to believe another summer is beginning to wind down. We’re so grateful for all of the residents, families, staff, volunteers and community partners who help make these experiences possible.

August, you were a good one! ☀️❤️ Now bring on September and all the fall fun ahead! 🍂
