This cake is from May, when Aasiya tuned 4, and I haven't made a cake since! Do I miss it? Not as much as i thought i would!

I want to take this opportunity to thank every single client who trusted me with their most precious celebrations and allowed me to exercise my creativity.

Sunflour & Sprinkles is currently closed as I take on the role of Principal at an Elementary School.

It's comforting to know that if Principalship gets too much, at least I have some sweetness to fall back on!

I am always nervous taking on a unicorn cake, so many elements have to come together to make her truly magical; the horn, the ears, the eyes and then there's the mane, I am so particular about the details that it takes me forever!

This was for a special girl's 4th birthday, both tiers in vanilla with vanilla buttercream.

Are you a fan of unicorn cakes? I love how the pastel colours make her so angelic and sweet, what do you make of her?

Happy World Hijab Day.

I love wearing the hijab, I always have, I wouldnt be me without it for it truly ia a part of who I am.

It is my act of submission and devotion to my creator, the only one worthy of worship.

I love the strength and protection it gives me, I love the friendships it enables me to make, I love the simplicity and modesty it entails and the beauty it helps to radiate.

I pray my love for the hijab continues to grow and I am able to show the beauty of my religion through it, for it truly is beautiful.
