THREE YEARS! 🩷🍒🎂
Three years ago today, we opened the doors to our little cheesecake shop, not knowing at all what the future would hold.
And here we are. Three years later.
Three years of early mornings, late nights, long days, lessons learned, challenges overcome, and more cheesecake than I could ever begin to count.
Owning a small business is incredible, but it isn’t always easy. It’s very early alarms, juggling family and work, figuring things out as you go, and putting your whole heart into something without ever knowing exactly how it’s going to turn out.
But it’s also so much more than that.
It’s walking into a shop you’ve built and seeing familiar faces week after week. It’s customers who have become friends. It’s hearing that someone drove an hour just to visit. It’s knowing that something you made was part of someone’s birthday, wedding, holiday, or special celebration.
It’s the people who recommend us to strangers, share our posts, bring their friends, and continue showing up for this little business.
And when I think about the last three years, it’s not really the cheesecakes that stand out.
It’s the people.
Because the truth is, a small business doesn’t get to celebrate birthdays without the people who keep its doors open.
You could buy cheesecake anywhere. But for three years, you’ve continued to choose ours. And that means more than you’ll ever know.
There have been days that were exhausting, overwhelming, and full of uncertainty. But there have also been countless moments that remind me exactly why I do this.
I never take for granted that in a world full of choices, you continue to choose our little shop.
Three years later, I still get to do something I love because of all of you.
Thank you for supporting our dream, for letting us be a small part of your lives, and for giving us three incredible years.
This birthday belongs to our customers just as much as it belongs to us.
Here’s to everything we’ve built together and whatever comes next. 🩷
