Simply sour Simply sour is a home based bakery that provides home baked goods that include sourdough in them. Hi everyone. My name is Brandy.

I have been baking just your plain old breads, cookies, brownies almost my entire life (as much as I’m aware of anyways). Baking is almost second nature to me now. I wanted to find a challenge for baking but something simple, nutritious and something me and my family would eat on a regular basis. Which turned me to sourdough bread making. On my 2 year journey I made a sourdough starter (multiple t

imes to be exact) and learned how to use it. In that time I have discovered that it just doesn’t need to be bread to use it. I’ve use it for everything now, pasta, tortillas, naan, cookies even in my pancakes. I’m at a place in my learning that I can provide a consistent loaf of bread. But that does not mean I’m still not learning. I do l, every day, I experiment with different ways to use my levain. I welcome any feedback, opinions on new things to try or something you would like to see.
