It’s been a minute on here… hello again everyone!
I’ve been taking a break from cupcakes as my mom had a heart attack over the Christmas break, resulting in her needing a double by pass (which happened a couple of weeks ago).
It’s been a roller coaster of a recovery for her and I feel as though my time and energy has to be elsewhere for now, as I’m also getting married in just under 3 months and the last minute stuff is starting to creep up on me! I’m hoping to be back taking on a few orders in a couple of weeks once my mom is home and settled. I’ll be taking on limited orders between then and the beginning of June.
These cupcakes I made today are for the nurses / doctors at the Ottawa Heart Institute who have been exceptional, from her surgeons, the ICU doctors and nurses, her floor nurses and everyone else in between. What better way to say thanks then some spring themed cupcakes on a day like today!
