Wilkies Bakehouse is looking for friendly, community-minded people to join our Front of House team as we return to Downtown Pembroke!

We’re looking for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys working with people, and wants to help create an outstanding experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

What we’re looking for:
• Warm and welcoming personalities
• Team players who thrive in a busy environment
• A love of coffee, baked goods, and community
• Hospitality experience is an asset, but not required

What you’ll do:
🥐 Serve guests with kindness and enthusiasm
☕ Take orders and prepare beverages
✨ Help keep our space welcoming and inviting

WE GOT THE KEYS 🔑✨

Okay… technically we got the keys a few weeks ago, but we finally feel ready to share the exciting news.

Wilkies Bakehouse is coming back to downtown Pembroke. ❤️

There’s still lots of work happening behind the scenes, Thanks Dad and the rest of my family for helping while we keep Wilkies baking.

If all goes according to plan, we’re hoping to open our doors in late May… maybe June-ish (you know how construction and equipment deliveries like to keep things interesting 😅).

Downtown Pembroke holds so many memories for us, and we truly can’t wait to bake, create, gather, and grow in this next chapter with all of you.

Thank you for cheering us on through every stage of this journey. We can't wait to welcome you back to our table at 213 Pembroke St West.

Ten years ago today, we packed up the car before sunrise and headed to our very first market — the

I still remember the nerves, the excitement, and wondering if anyone would stop by our table. That market holds such a special place in my heart because it was the beginning of something so much bigger than I could have imagined

A decade later, I’m sitting here feeling incredibly blessed. What started with a few baked goods and a dream has turned into a community, friendships, opportunities, and memories I’ll carry forever.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Wilkies Bakehouse over the last ten years — whether you bought a loaf at a market, visited friends of ours who stock our products, shared a post, cheered us on, or simply believed in us.

long time ago (okay… yesterday evening 😉) in a bakery not so far away…

We celebrated May the 4th with the best crew of young and wise Jedis! Thank you to everyone who joined our baking workshop and brought such great energy to the kitchen.

Together we whipped up some out-of-this-world treats — Wookie Cookies (perfect for our furry friends 🐾), Obi Wan Cannoli Dip, and Princess Leia Cinnamon Rolls that were truly fit for royalty.

A huge thank you to FCS Renfrew County for helping make this event happen, and a very special shoutout to my mom for bringing along our surprise guest — the closest thing to Chewbacca we could find in this galaxy (and definitely the hairiest fan favorite of the day).

The force was strong in the bakery, and we’re already looking forward to the next adventure.

May the fork be with you 🍴✨
