CINNAMON BUNS EVERY SATURDAY

Who missed these things as much as I did??

Starting this weekend I’ll be putting out a tray (or two) of cinnamon buns every Saturday just because I love you guys 🥰

We’ve got a new menu for you just a couple of days early and we have a counter full of pastries and artisanal white loaves on the shelf this morning.

Stop by until 4pm or sold out!

‼️THE LAST LOAF MENU EVER ‼️

There’s no easy way to say this, only because we know how many hearts are about to be broken, but this is indeed the last Loaf menu ever.

May 30th will be the final page in the beautiful book called LOAF Artisan Bakery & Cafe. We have had the most fun running this wonderful business (although our bodies may disagree LOL) but it’s time for us to move on.

We originally came to the Ottawa Valley over 12 years ago during our military careers, leaving all of our friends and family behind in the GTA and surrounding areas. Our lease in this space is coming to an end and it feels like the universe is sending us a sign that our time here has come to an end as well.

We will miss all of our customers so, so much. The love and support you have shown either in the bakery, at taste of the valley, at the container market, in surrounding wholesale shops or out and about in our daily lives will never be forgotten. It has honestly been the thing that has driven us through some seriously tough times.

We will be accepting orders for the remainder of this month and the entire month of May for anything you’d like to purchase from us (I might even consider selling you frozen, unbaked croissants, cookies and danishes if you ask nice enough 😉) and I’ve done my best to bring back the fan favourites that have been requested over the last few months.

I don’t want to make this sappy because I’m sappy enough most of the time. We hope you remember us fondly and do your best moving forward to support the local bakers, chefs, artists, shop owners and female entrepreneurs as much as you can in this crazy world we live in.

Hey hey 👋🏻

It’s the last week for April’s goodies as we’ll be releasing our May menu next week. Stop by for one of these beauties - classic croissant split down the middle with semi sweet ganache and strawberry whip with chunks of strawberries, dusted with sugar. They’re so delicious 🤤 you won’t be disappointed!
