Hey fans! Life has been busy with our new little one in the house and while I'm not taking cake orders, I have been keeping busy with non-edible orders for cake toppers, cupcake wrappers, party banners, custom stickers, stencils, tshirt and mug decals.

I know it's been a while but we're still not taking orders en masse while on mat leave. This was a cute little cake for a friend's little one yesterday. Felt good to get back into the kitchen for this. Lately it's been just family projects (which I'm seriously behind in posting...)

This was a very special project I donated to The Northern Birthday Box Project. It's a lovely organization that helps to bring birthday fun to those in need in Northern Canada. My friend, Kaitlyn Lalonde, works tirelessly for this organization and is such a wonderful humanitarian, crochet maven and all around great person - this is the least I can do to help support her continued efforts for this project.

Our collaboration for this birthday box is for a sweet girl turning 16 - as Kaitlyn tells me, the older kids are the hardest to shop for, because they don't ask for much. She managed to find out that Grace likes yellow and black and is a makeup fan. I hope all your hopes and dreams come true Grace. Happy Sweet 16!
