course 3 is a pre-requisite for this class. It is being offered May 30th at 6:30 and June 26 at 12:30
It's 1 lesson that is 2hrs

I wanted to share a post that my student Nathalie Carrier posted on her page. She graduated course 4, 4 years ago. I was so moved by this post. Suffering from mental health issues myself we could easily sympathize with each other, and like her, cake decorating is very therapeutic for me. Thank you so much for sharing Nathalie.

Wow! What a reminder! These little sugar paste flowers were my salvation, the beginning of my exit from the dark. Tiny little sugar flowers I got out of the house for once a week, were the beginning of the end of my severe PPDA turned full blown Depression. I remember vividly the anxiety that came with brushing my hair, leaving the house, leaving my babies behind, talking to strangers... And once a week, no matter what, I went. Once a week I crafted a tiny little flower, learned a new technique, laughed with a new friend. As these little flowers blossomed, I too began the slow process of reopening... One hour a week, one week at a time... And this, all because my mommy encouraged me to go. She found that part of me, the artistic part that could be my out. She paid for my classes because we were on such a tight budget, she took care of my babies, and, like she's done my whole life, encourage me every step of the way, telling me how "amazing" my flowers were. 4 years ago. I almost can't remember, and yet I can never forget! Merci mommy (Jocelyne) and thanks Tiffany for being an incredible instructor and ear in these scary first months! Tiffany Mckellar

I just thought I would share a cake that I am working on. It's going to be a france themed cake. You can see the start of the Eiffel tower in the background. Cake is due friday. I'll post the final pic.

We have a new "wired gumpaste flowers" project class it has been out for awhile but I was wondering how many people would be interested in this class if I were to offer it in May. We go over how to make the hibiscus, hydrangea and a big rose.
