With the farmers’ markets currently closed we are committed to both keeping our products available and keeping our customers and staff safe and healthy. We have two options for accessing our products this week.

Firstly, we are happy to announce a partnership with our good friends at Octopus Books, who have kindly made their Glebe store available as a location for picking up your orders. Their location on Third Avenue just off Bank St is very close to our Lansdowne Market location.

We are currently taking orders for pick up on Saturday 11 April. Orders must be made via our newly created online store by 5 pm on Thursday 9 April. At present we are able to offer a selection of our most popular products.

Secondly, with the help of local coffee roaster Poppa Bean, we have partnered with several of our friends at the Ottawa Farmers’ Market to provide The Vendors Project, a weekly delivery service of select products. This entails a minimum order to be made by noon Thursday for delivery on Friday 10 April. This week we are offering Hot Cross Buns, as well as our Classic and Rustic Sourdough loaves.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak in Ottawa the farmers’ markets are currently suspended.

In the meantime we have teamed up with our good friends at Moo Shu Ice Cream and Kitchen on Bank St to offer an online ordering system and pick up location.

At present we are offering a limited but varied selection of some of our most popular products. Orders can be made up to 3 pm Thursdays for pick up between 10 am and 5 pm Saturdays. Both Purebread and Moo Shu are operating under the most stringent procedures to keep our customers and workers safe.

We look forward to keeping you supplied with Ottawa’s best organic bread.
