Casa Balzano was established over 40 years ago. Today executive chef Franco Balzano after studying under the wings of his uncle a top chef in Italy and over 16 years of travelling all over the world cooking in the worlds most prestigious and beautiful resorts around the world. Which is where he meet and fell in love with his wife while working at one of his resorts in Cuba. He married and found a home here in Ottawa. Executive chef Franco Balzano and his wife Nadia's dream is to open their own food establishment and share with the world the wonderful authentic Italian cuisine that truly exists in Italy that here in Ottawa seems to have been forgotten and mostly restaurant here have never changed their menus in over 40 years.
We begin our journey by offering theses delicious fresh fruit cakes. We are happy to take your orders by sending us a simple message on our face book page. We also take special requests for any occasion and deserts that you may need.
