It is with great sadness that after 3 successful years in business, The Krack Shack will be closing down on December 19th, 2025.
The cost of ingredients to make quality baking has just become too expensive. Chocolate, raisins and nuts have almost doubled in price. For example, last year the average dark fruitcake cost $13.00
to make. This year it's $24.00. This does not include our time, electricity or freezer bags. Unfortunately it is cheaper to buy (crap ingredients) baking from a grocery store.
We have hundreds of clients and this truly breaks our hearts but the reality is...
You have to profit to stay open and unfortunately we no longer make enough for that to happen.
We thank you all for your 'local' support over the years and look forward to delivering to you one last time!!!
