After months of working away at it with our good friends Shannon and Sean, we're finally ready to announce some big changes for The Ginger Baker... we're so very happy to announce our shift into becoming the new owners of Osoyoos' own The Lake Village Bakery. One half of was away for a month getting some old-fashioned in, so we've been a little M.I.A. Our first week back has been so exciting, that we decided to celebrate with an epic German-Polish inspired dinner. Behold... hand made "cheese" & potato and mushroom & sauerkraut pierogies, alongside seitan chorizo, with dairy-free cashew sour cream, caramelized onions (deglazed with 's ) and of course, fresh soft pretzels made with our lil' baby starter, ! Yes... this ENTIRE plate of delicious grub is homemade, toppings included!

With the winter chill seeping in through sleet and freezing rain, we needed a little comfort food today! Ian made an amazing Vegan Cashew Alfredo Linguini tonight with zucchini, cherry tomatoes and fresh basil, and did it ever hit the nail on the head!
