βœ… Correct Answer: B
Creaming butter and sugar together traps tiny air bubbles in the mixture. During baking, these bubbles expand and help create a cake with a lighter texture and better volume. πŸŽ‚

Baker's tip: Room-temperature butter is usually ideal for creaming. If it's too cold, it won't incorporate air effectively; if it's too warm or melted, it won't hold those air pockets as well!

This week’s Sunday Cake Story is once again one of my very own! πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ

12 YEARS. TWELVE YEARS of making birthday cakes for this kiddo! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‚

From the little boy he was to the young man he’s becoming, I’ve had the absolute privilege of creating something special for his birthday year after year. And let me tell you, watching them grow up is the sweetest reminder of why I love what I do! πŸ₯°

This year’s cake? A giant pink sprinkled donut! πŸ©πŸ’— Because why have a regular cake when you can have a DONUT CAKE?!

Being a cake artist is pretty special, but being able to create these memories for my own kids? That’s a whole different kind of magic. ❀️

12 years of cakes. 12 years of memories. And MANY more to come! πŸŽ‚βœ¨

Now I want to hear from you! πŸ‘‡

πŸŽ‰πŸ° FRIDAY’S FUN FACT OF THE DAY! πŸ°πŸŽ‰

🧁 Did you know…? The secret to a perfectly smooth buttercream cake starts with a crumb coat! πŸ€«πŸŽ‚

A crumb coat is a thin layer of icing spread over the entire cake before adding the final layer. It traps all those pesky crumbs so your finished cake looks smooth, clean, and picture-perfect! ✨

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ It’s one of the little tricks bakers use to turn a good cake into a showstopper!

Now it’s YOUR turn! πŸ‘‡

πŸŽ‚ Let’s have some fun!

What’s your favourite part of a cake?

🍰 A) The delicious cake layers
🧁 B) The buttercream icing
🍫 C) The chocolate decorations
🌈 D) All the pretty colours and designs
