Getting ready to bring your quilt to the longarmer?

Here's one of the MOST important things to check:

📏 Make sure your backing is at least 5 inches larger than your quilt top on ALL four sides.

That extra fabric isn't wasted—it gives me the room I need to load and clamp your quilt properly on the longarm and achieve the best possible result.

A little preparation before drop-off can make a big difference!

🧵 A little behind the scenes at Kindred Quilters!

There’s something so satisfying about watching the longarm at work. 🤓

Here’s my Innova stitching away and adding that final layer of texture to a beautiful wedding quilt. I love watching the quilting design come to life—and seeing how it complements all the work the quiltmaker has already put into their quilt.

One stitch at a time, another quilt gets closer to being finished. ❤️
