Why Einkorn?

For us, it all comes back to trust and transparency.

We wanted to be deeply connected to every step of the process, from the farmers growing the grain to the loaves coming out of our ovens. That meant asking more questions, getting involved in the details, and building relationships that go beyond just sourcing ingredients.

It’s this level of care that allows us to stand behind every loaf we bake, knowing exactly what went into it and where it came from. 🍞✨

How To Build A Bakery!

Before the storefront, before the farmers markets, and before most people knew who we were — there was our little Etsy shop.

Those early days were nonstop. Packing orders late at night, rushing to get bread shipped out on time, and doing whatever it took to make sure every loaf made it to its destination. It felt chaotic half the time, but we loved every second of it.

That tiny online shop became the foundation for everything we’re building today. And now, after years of growing step by step, we’re getting ready to finally open the doors to The Einkorn Shoppe. 🍞✨

Why Einkorn?

We didn’t set out to reinvent wheat—we set out to understand it.

The more we learned, the more we realized how far modern wheat has drifted from its original form, and how many people were struggling with it in everyday life.

That’s what led us back to einkorn. Not as a trend, but as a return to something simpler, more traditional, and closer to how wheat originally existed.

For us, it became less about changing bread—and more about respecting where it comes from. 🍞✨
