Took some days off work this week and had some chance to reflect. 🧐

I cannot begin to imagine how the parents of the Indigenous children must have felt. It breaks my heart 💔

Being an immigrant, I have been so lucky to have the freedom and often than not, take the simple things for granted. 😥

Hope everyone celebrated Canada Day and the 4th of July with a reflective heart. Big hug to anyone who needs it right now. 🤗🤗🤗

My boy just turned one and look what we made him for his birthday.. a dino piñata cake! 🦖

I loved dinosaurs when I was a kid and now that my nephew and niece love them too, it’s just perfect to do a dino theme party!

This past weekend was def one for the books! Our parish priest called last minute and had got us in all panic for Jacob's baptism! 😂 Father and son outfit had to be bought (including mine! What is covid body? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😂) when Ontario reopened on Friday.

But all went well and we even got to do an outdoor picnic with the fambam afterwards. And then of course, rain poured 🤯 nevertheless, I am always grateful for these priceless moments! ❤️

Hope everyone had a blessed Sunday 🙏🏻

This past weekend was def one for the books! Our parish priest called last minute and had got us in all panic for Jacob's baptism! 😂 Father and son outfit had to be bought (including mine! What is covid body? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😂) when Ontario reopened on Friday.

Why I love long weekends.. I get to spend more time with my son ❤️ And ok, maybe my wife too 😂 (haha please don’t kill me 🙏🏻)

Plus I get to play around with our bread. Look how cute these hands are 😍 Can’t believe he’s turning 1️⃣ next month! 😱

And can’t believe he has not met his relatives aside from the zoom calls. 😩 Please let’s all get vaccinated so we can see each other soon! 💪🏼

The weather has been insanely hot lately(not that I am complaining) and these babies proof so much faster! 🙌🏼 it’s always a sight to see the dough grow and double in size! So fluffy and jiggly! 💯

Last weekend was a busy one so it’s great to finally be able to enjoy our afternoon and make a dozen cups of delicious coffee from our Mother’s Day stash. ☕️

My allergies are also flaring up because of the pollens but who cares!! Gotta love the weather! Sun’s out, gun’s out 💪🏼 drink up on all that Vitamjn D ya’ll. ☀️

Aaand it’s another lockdown for us 😭 my wife was feeling gloomy and guess what I baked to cheer her up! 🥕Carrot cake to celebrate Easter 🐰and paired it with her favorite coffee ☕️

Proud to report that she’s now grinning from ear to ear. Hehehe 🥰 so husbands, pro tip: feeding the hangry wife always make everything better ❤️
