hey all, long time no chat! a lot has been going on here so i apologize for the lack of contact.
queue loooooong post...
for those that don't know, i'm now baking/cooking part time - this doesn't affect my commitment to my offerings, only my volume & availability. :)
soooo having said that, despite it being only july, i'm already thinking fall feasts and what i can offer to make them both easier and ... feast ... ier shall we say? lol... i think i like that: "feastier". let's go with that. ;) think all things warm, savoury, buttery, rich and easy, easy, easy...
in order to manage orders, i'd love to know the interest this year for:
tourtiere (aka meat pie: ground beef & pork + warm spices) in all butter pastry | $20
chicken pot pie (aka creamy chicken filling + peas, corn, carrots) in all butter pastry | $23
beef & stout pie (slow-braised beef in rich, dark stout) in all butter pastry | $25
shepherd's pie (ground beef with peas, corn + carrots in a gravy) topped with buttery, creamy whipped potatoes | $20
as always, any of these makes a wonderful freezer-to-oven option for you, an aging or ill parent, or starving student.
and let's not forget Thanksgiving (sorry! it's closer than think)... pumpkin pies are also available, made-to-order @ $20 each. these are made fresh so the more notice the better. :)
