Langhap Sarap Langhap Sarap is about cooking and baking. I always believe " Da best and lutong bahay! Hello everyone, my name is Florena but you can call me 'Flo'.

I have always liked to cook and bake but I did not have a chance before when I was in the Philippines. When I arrived in Vancouver Canada, I landed to work as a food server in the restaurant. That's how I feel in love with cooking while watching the chef in the kitchen. Later on, I learned how to bake while watching the food network channel in america. My goal in this page is to share what I have learned from cooking, baking and some few techniques.

Inspired by Vietnamese recipe. Madali lang gawin at hindi ko akalain napakasarap Pala.
Perfect recipe sa new year kasi made of tapioca flour.

Pandan Honey Comb Cake

Ingredients

400g tapioca flour
400ml coconut milk or cream
1 can condensed milk
100g granulated sugar
8 large eggs
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter, softened or melted
2 tsp pandan flavor, I added green color to enhance the color
1½ tbsp double acting baking powder.

1. Oil the bundt pan and pop it into the oven while you assemble the batter. Double purpose also preheating the oven as well.

2. Gently heat the coconut milk with sugar and condensed milk, salt, butter, pandan flavoring in a sauce pan. Allow to cool down in room temperature before adding to batter mixture.

3. In large mixing bowl, Crack eggs, beaten lightly add tapioca and baking powder. Mix well, add the coconut mixture and keep mixing to well combine.

4. Make sure bundt pan is hot. Sprinkle with oil if you hear sizzling sound is good. Strain the batter pour in the bundt and Bake 50 to 55 minutes. Be careful bundt pan is hot.

Serve and enjoy. To compliment my cassava caramel sauce is really good with this recipe as well. Enjoy.
