đź’› A Sweet Goodbye (for now) đź’›
Today is a very bittersweet moment for me. As many of you know, Crumb Local has been such a huge part of my heart and my life this past year. What started as a little dream in my kitchen grew into something that brought me so much joy — not just in the baking itself, but in connecting with so many wonderful people in our community.
This bakery has been proof to me that if you put your mind, heart, and hard work into something, you really can make it a success. And I’m so thankful that I got to share that journey with all of you. Your support — whether it was a kind word, a first order, or becoming one of my beloved regulars — has meant more than I can ever truly put into words.
Life, of course, has its own plans, and for now, I’ll be closing down Crumb Local as I head back to school and focus on a new path forward. This isn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one for me and my family.
That said — this isn’t goodbye forever. I plan to pop back in with some big bakes from time to time, with bread and sweets available in larger batches. When I do, I’ll be sure to post here to let you know.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this chapter with me. Crumb Local was never just about bread — it was about community, connection, and love. And I’ll carry that with me always.
