Dear friends and customers, thanks to you, over the last 7 years I’ve been blessed to be able to turn my passion for baking into a career. I have loved helping you celebrate your children’s birthdays, your weddings, new babies, and even the small moments like meeting a girlfriend for coffee at one of the many shops we have supplied over the years.
Unfortunately, because of health issues I am no longer able to continue baking as I have been, in the quantities needed to support the business. I am both sad and happy to announce that I will soon be closing Dessert Island.
As one chapter of my life is ending, it’s so exciting to share with you, the new chapter that is unfolding. I will be opening a new Charcuterie company called Island Grazer.
As many of you have come to know, quality is king in my world. 35 years working as a professional cook/chef is what will make Island Grazer stand apart from the rest. I will bring the same attention to detail and professional touches to charcuterie, including freshly made crackers, chutneys, cookies, candied nuts, cheese balls and more.
I want to thank you for your loyalty and encouragement through this time, and I look forward to continue helping you celebrate your family’s milestones in this new and exciting way.
