This beauty went out to a “Love In Bloom” bridal shower. The special thing is that this lemon blueberry cake is both gluten and dairy free. With a bit of work I have been able to adjust my icing to make a dairy free mock Swiss meringue buttercream and I must say this did turn out nice.

What do you do when you can’t get everyone to the birthday party…..well you have 2 parties and therefore 2 cakes of course!! Inside is a GF lemon velvet cake with raspberry compote. All topped with my special vanilla buttercream!

Two cakes this weekend. First a pretty in pink, a GF vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream for a lovely lady’s birthday. And the second for my hubby’s birthday today, a rich chocolate stout cake with rum flavoured buttercream.
